The Department of Economics has been established in June 2022. It plays a key role in catering to the needs of aspiring students and providing opportunities in the global competitive environment. To ensure the holistic development of students, the department undertakes various initiatives and activities. These include field visits, bank visits, industrial visits, study tours, and community engagement programs to enhance practical skills. Additionally, field surveys are conducted to help students understand the socio-economic challenges of society. To facilitate the exchange of ideas and knowledge among faculty and students, the department organizes seminars, conferences, and workshops at university, state and national level. The department is also committed to instilling ethics and values in students. Various programs, expert lectures, rallies, and observances of the birth and death anniversaries of social reformers and patriots are organized to inspire and educate students.
